Organizing a local libertarian alliance
As initial organizer of a local libertarian alliance, your primary responsibility should not be seen as:
- getting the word on agorism out to the public
- speaking truth to the local manifestations of tyranny every time they spring up
- presenting a non-state alternative to the status quo
All of these are worthy objectives for a local libertarian alliance to pursue, but none of them is your primary one.
Your primary objective is to provide a regular place and time for meetings to take place, a place that is inviting, where people will feel safe to voice their opinions and ideas, and where an atmosphere conducive to productive activity is maintained. Let others lead particular campaigns/projects. Your job is to provide an environment that fosters others' creativity.
